Netflix is experiencing widespread outages across the globe as people isolate themselves at home due to an ongoing coronavirus pandemic.On Tuesday afternoon, thousands of reports flooded the outage-detecting site, downdetector.com and social media as Netflix ceased working.Users reported being unable to access the site and the app, both of which refused to load.
Across the US and UK, users of Netflix reported outages on downdetector.com as they were unable to access the service and stream their favorite TV shows and moviesThe service often display error code Error NSES-500 which entails a network connectivity issue that is preventing your device from reaching the Netflix service.
On the streaming giants status page the company displayed a notice that the it would not likely be able to field customer support calls in a timely fashion as many of its employees are being forced to work from home.
Due to the COVID-19 crisis thousands of our customer support agents are now having to work from home, making it harder to support your calls, the pages reads.
