Nigel Farage reveals Donald Trump's stern threat to EU in post-Iran attacks statement

Speaking on his LBC show, Nigel Farage argued that the US President interestingly took the opportunity to send a warning to the EU and other NATO nations as he gave his official statement in response to Irans attacks on US forces in Iraq. The Brexit Party leader claimed the Donald Trump believes the US continue to do the heavy lifting in the Middle East, militarily and economically.

“And that was a very, very interesting moment because part of the Trump narrative is that if NATO is to be an effective organisation it can’t just be America in terms of what they pay for the military, in terms of what they do.“And I think he feels that in the military war against ISIS - and yes, sure, the RAF were involved and other Europeans had sone role - but basically he feels that it was the American part of NATO that was doing the heavy lifting.
