Jeremy Kyle could get £3million pay out after show is cancelled as he ‘sets up own media company’

The Jeremy Kyle Show has been cancelled (Picture: ITV)Jeremy Kyle could receive a £3million pay-out after his ITV show was axed, following guest Steven Dymond’s suspected suicide.The 53-year-old – who fronted The Jeremy Kyle Show – reportedly also set up a media company just days before, in a bid to ‘safeguard his future’.

The Daily Mail reports he registered ‘Hales Media Limited’ on Tuesday, amid worries he would ‘end up with nothing’ and ‘be made a scapegoat’ after the TV show was permanently cancelled yesterday.He gave his fiancée, 35-year-old Victoria Burton, a stake in his new company.The claims come after Jeremy broke his silence on Steve’s death, explaining he is ‘devastated’ by the news.

In a statement shared with The Sun, he said: ‘Myself and the production team I have worked with for the last 14 years are all utterly devastated by the recent events.‘Our thoughts and sympathies are with Steve’s family and friends at this incredibly sad time.’

‘He had gone on the show solely to clear his name but he said it had gone wrong because of the lie detector test.‘He was adamant that he did not lie. He was so upset that he wasn’t making much sense, but he just kept repeating: “I haven’t cheated, Carl, I swear I haven’t cheated.”‘Steve told me, “Kyle really laid into me”.
